It's laundry day, of course. The laundry room is empty, most of the building is empty, and the city will begin to empty as people leave to spend the holidays with their families and such.

Unseasonably warm again today as a mix of clouds and sun, a high of 48F, and gentle winds lead to an evening of partly cloudy skies and a low of 34F.
.
I don't wear jeans often, but I do wear them sometimes and I must have done that a lot the last week or two because I had three pair of jeans in the wash. I spent all my time in the laundry room trynig to decide which pair are my fave. I have Levis, Gap, Zegna, and Armani. I think the Levis are my fave and I think Levis have always been my fave jeans.

Lady Bird Johnson started the "Beautify America" campaign. Her work led to the removal of thousands of billboards from roadways and created funding for urban parks and beautification. People still wore hats and gloves in those days. Sportswear and farmerwear hadn't become acceptable social clothing yet. Logos on dress clothes were unheard of. Style was so much more stylish then.
